Nairobi National Park is 10km south of Nairobi City Centre and is definitely worth visiting. The view from Nairobi National Park is unique from other parks because it is the closest national park to a city in the world so you get a view of the city scrapers from the park and wide open grass plains with scattered acacia.
The park was established in 1946 and is home to a lot of animals including 400 species of birds. For sure, the population of wildlife will not disappoint. The half day Nairobi National Park game drive is approximately 6 hours. Morning tours are the best because the birds and wild animals are active due to the cool temperature. The cost of the trip includes a professional tour guide, pick up and drop off and game drives by safari vehicles with pop up roof which could be either a van or a land cruiser. Park entry fees is excluded from the cost since it is paid on arrival at the gate.
