Day 01 :

Arrival

Arrive at Zanzibar Airport, and transferred to Azao Spa & Resort where you will check in for 7 nights on half board basis

Full day relaxation

Safari Blue Trip

After breakfast at 08h00 you will be transferred to Fumba for Safari Blue trip. This is a full day trip on locally constructed sailing dhows, fitted with outboard motors, marine VHF radios, life jackets and other security requirements. The dhow anchors in a safe and shallow area to allow for snorkeling. High quality snorkeling material are provided, and a large range of sizes is available. Lunch is served on a sand bank or on one of the many uninhabited islands in the region. A traditional dish of barbecued fish, rice, lentils and fish curry is served. Chilled fruit juice, mineral water, and bottled soft drinks are available throughout the tour. After lunch, clients can sail on an outrigger canoe carved out of a single mango tree, snorkel and swim or just relax. Return to Fumba is by sail, wind permitting, and arrive back to your at about 1730 hrs.

Spice tour & Stone Town tour

In the morning at 08h30 you will be transferred to Kizimbani, which is among the areas for the spice tour. We will visit the spice plantations where you will have the opportunity to pick, smell, and savour fruits and spices which you have probably never seen on the supermarket shelf, Cloves, star fruit, tangerine trees, lemon grass, mangos teen, 'lipstick trees', to name but a few what you can expect to see! This is the cheapest place to buy locally made perfumes and oils.

Around 11h00 you will be transferred to Stone Town where you will do a Stone Town tour, which takes about two hours. It begins with a visit to Zanzibar's colorful market, alive with the buzz of locals bartering fresh vegetables and baskets of tropical fruit, amongst the heady aroma of herbs and spices, we continue onto the site of a cathedral built in 1874 , the Old Fort and the recently renovated Indian Dispensary. Your tour ends with a stroll through the narrow streets of Stone Town. The tour ends around 13h30 then you will be transferred back to Azao Resort

Turtles Sanctuary + Sunset Dhow Cruise

Pick up from Blackstone Zanzibar around 13h00 to a beautiful natural aquarium with a full of sea turtles. At Baraka Natural Aquarium, you will have the memorable opportunity to swim with turtles; you can even feed the animals if you buy some from the keepers.

After turtles’ sanctuary, you will be walked to Kendwa Beach where there is a white sandy beach, which is very conductive for swimming and beach relaxation. You will have free time to explore and play while you are waiting for the dhow to start a sunset cruise trip.

At 16h00, you will catch a dhow and start to experience the glorious Zanzibar sunset. A fun evening with family or friends, you will cruise along watching the setting sun cast gold and amber hues on the Island coast. Tour ends around 18h30.

Day 08 :

Departure

According to your flight time, our driver will pick you up from Azao Resort and drop you to Zanzibar airport for your safe flight back home.
