1. Current position
1.1 creekstours.com does not set analytics, advertising, personalisation or social-media tracking cookies. The website has no customer accounts or checkout.
1.2 We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are useful. It does not use cookies or store anything on your device. Visits are counted using a hash of request information that is discarded after 24 hours, so we see aggregated statistics such as page, referrer, country and device type, not identifiable visitors.
1.3 Hosting and security infrastructure may process IP addresses and request information in server logs. Those records are not necessarily cookies. A provider may set a strictly necessary security, load-balancing or abuse-prevention cookie; if so, it is used only to deliver and secure the service and expires under that provider’s configuration.
1.4 Links to WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, TripAdvisor and other third-party sites do not cause Creeks Tours to set their cookies merely because a link appears. If you follow a link, the third party may process data under its own policy.
2. Your controls
2.1 Because the current site uses no optional cookies, there is no optional-cookie banner. You may block or delete cookies using your browser, although blocking a strictly necessary cookie could affect site operation.
2.2 If we add analytics, embedded media, advertising pixels, chat tools or other optional storage, we will update this policy, identify each tool and purpose, and obtain prior consent where required. Optional tools will remain off until consent and declining will be as easy as accepting.
3. Consent wording for future use
3.1 Banner text: “We use necessary technology to run and secure this site. With your permission, we would also like to use [analytics provider] to understand site use. Choose ‘Accept analytics’ or ‘Reject optional cookies’. You can change your choice at any time. See our Cookie Policy.”
3.2 Buttons: “Accept analytics”; “Reject optional cookies”; “Manage choices”. Do not use pre-ticked boxes or an “accept” button that is more prominent than “reject”.
3.3 Preferences text: “Necessary — always active: required for security and core site functions. Analytics — optional: helps us measure visits and improve pages. Advertising — not currently used.”
